Welcome! Dr. Louise Fennell has returned to Victoria, British Columbia, after 15 years away living, working and learning in Alberta and the United States. She is excited to be back in Victoria, raising her family in this community surrounded by nature. Dr. Fennell offers psycho-educational and neuropsychological assessments for children and youth. Dr. Fennell also provides consultation and intervention services.

Always using a neuropsychologist's lens in her assessment practice, each child's profile of strengths and challenges will be understood within a neurological, developmental, and psychosocial context. Dr. Fennell provides assessments in a supportive, compassionate environment and supports families in accessing a greater, more holistic understanding of their child and a plan for moving forward.

Dr. Fennell has experience as a psychologist and as a parent navigating the complexities entailed in promoting optimal cognitive, educational, social, and psychological growth for children with challenges. She draws from her experiences in diverse settings to provide comprehensive assessments with useful, individualized recommendations and follow up.  

 

In her intervention work, Dr. Fennell has a passion for supporting children and youth to reach their potential through individual and parent based work.

Dr. Fennell lives, works and plays on the traditional homelands of the Lekwungen speaking people, the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations.
